Everything you need to install and use Slack Says.

1. Install

Click Add to Slack from the homepage, authorize the app, and choose which channels Slack Says should watch. It listens quietly in the background: it does not post unless you use a command.

2. How capture works

When someone asks a question in a watched channel and the thread produces a useful answer, Slack Says detects the pair and stores a clean, categorized entry in your knowledge base. AI filters out noise so only real answers are saved.

3. Search from Slack

Use the /slacksays your question slash command in any channel to search your knowledge base instantly. The top matching answers are returned privately to you.

4. Dashboard

Sign in at slacksays.com/login to browse, search, and manage every captured Q&A. Upvote or downvote entries to improve ranking.

5. Export

Pro and Team plans can export the full knowledge base as CSV or JSON from the dashboard for backup or migration.

6. Managing channels

Add or remove watched channels at any time by re-opening the app configuration in Slack. Uninstalling the app stops all data collection immediately.
